When the “Troop 101 Jim Potjunas Scout Center” was completed in 2017, Troop 101 began meeting at Blessed Sacrament. As part of our transition, a new logo was created to commemorate our transition. This would have been celebrated during our 45th Anniversary, but the Global Pandemic delayed use of this flag to late 2020. It was first flown over the building in 2021 and added to the flags used at Summer Camp. The new Logo features a hollow Elk pattern, to recognize our history with the Elks Club, and maintain it as part of our brand. The lettering was simplified, and 1975 was added under the ribbon to show when the Troop started. This is considered the second-generation flag for the Troop, as the first was created in 1985 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. That replaced the standard Scout Issue flag with the Red and White Stripe.
